SET 2 // FIRE 4

LIVING IT DAILY

You now understand why obedience matters and how it works with grace.
This is where everything becomes real.

Living it daily is not something separate from your life.
It is your life.

Following Jesus is not something you turn on for certain moments. It is not limited to when you read or when you pray. It is how you think, how you respond, and how you move through your day.

Luke 9:23 (ESV)

“And he said to all, ‘If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.’”

Daily means this is ongoing.

NOT OCCASIONAL
NOT WHEN IT IS CONVENIENT

Every day you are making decisions. Every day you are choosing direction.

THE MIND

This begins with your thinking.

Romans 12:2 (ESV)

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind”

As your mind is shaped by truth, your life begins to follow. What you believe begins to show up in how you live.

This is not forced behavior. It is transformation over time.

EVERYTHING MATTERS

Living this out also affects everything you do.

Colossians 3:17 (ESV)

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus”

There is no part of your life that is separate from this.

How you speak.
How you respond under pressure.
How you treat people when no one is watching.
How you handle success and failure.

All of it matters.

Obedience in daily life is often simple, but it is consistent.

It is choosing truth when something else feels easier.
It is choosing patience instead of reacting.
It is choosing honesty even when it costs you.
It is choosing what is right when no one else sees.

THE PROCESS

Galatians 5:16 (ESV)

“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”

Walking means movement.

Step by step.
Decision by decision.

You are not trying to fix everything at once. You are choosing the next right step.

There will be moments where you fail.
That does not mean you stop.

1 John 2:1 (ESV)

“My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”

You do not stay in failure.

You return.
You confess.
You continue.

This is not a cycle of defeat. This is growth.

STAYING CONNECTED

Living this out daily also means staying connected to what builds you.

The Word keeps your thinking clear.
Prayer keeps your relationship active.
Truth keeps your direction steady.
John 15:5 (ESV)

“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit”

Abiding means staying connected.

You are not trying to produce change on your own. Growth comes as you remain connected to Him.

Over time, this becomes steady.

Not forced.
Not something you are trying to maintain through pressure.

It becomes how you live.

THE COMPLETION

This is where everything you have learned begins to connect.

You understand the Word.
You are learning to pray.
You are turning away from sin.
You are walking in obedience.

You are not the same as when you started. You are growing.

Philippians 1:6 (ESV)

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”

This is not something you started.

God started it. And He will continue it.

So do not rush this. Do not try to force everything at once. Stay steady. Stay consistent. Keep walking.

THE BOTTOM LINE

In simple terms:

01 Follow Jesus daily
02 Choose truth consistently
03 Return when you fail
04 Stay connected to what builds you

This is what it looks like to live it out.

You have completed this set.

Take a moment and recognize what you now understand that you did not understand before. Do not move forward without keeping this foundation steady.
