Science is not the judge of the Bible; the Bible is the prerequisite for Science.
Modernity presents the natural world as a self-interpreting data set. However, science requires a specific metaphysical framework to even begin a laboratory experiment. It assumes that the universe is orderly, that the laws of logic are invariant, and that the human mind is capable of rational discovery.
The Archive recognizes that these are not “neutral” observations, but **Creational Assumptions**. Without the Logos (John 1:1, LSB), the universe is a chaotic soup where induction has no basis. To perform science is to inadvertently borrow from the Christian worldview.
THE PROBLEM OF INDUCTION
The materialist worldview relies on Induction the belief that the future will be like the past. While David Hume correctly noted that secular reason cannot justify this belief, Scripture provides the anchor.
The uniformity of nature is a direct result of the **Divine Decree**. God has promised a consistency in the physical order (Genesis 8:22, LSB). The scientist who expects gravity to work tomorrow is acting on a theological faith he likely denies.
THE IMMATERIALITY OF LOGIC
Science requires the Laws of Logic. These laws are immaterial, universal, and invariant. In a purely materialist universe composed only of atoms and motion laws of logic cannot exist.
If our brains are merely the result of biological accidents, then our “thoughts” are nothing more than chemical reactions. We have no reason to trust them as true. The **Logos Prerequisite** asserts that logic exists because God is rational and the universe reflects His mind (Colossians 1:17, LSB).
LIMITS OF NATURALISM
Naturalism is the self-imposed blindfold of modern science. It dictates that only material causes are allowed in the courtroom. This is not a scientific discovery; it is a philosophical prejudice.
The biblical worldview does not reject the physical, but recognizes it as a subset of the transcendent. When science ignores the spiritual, it forfeits the capacity to explain consciousness, morality, and the origin of information. It attempts to explain the painting while banning any mention of the Painter.
DIVINE SIGNATURES
Scripture often predates scientific discovery by millennia, not as a textbook, but as a judicial witness to divine authorship. Job speaks of the weight of the wind (Job 28:25, LSB) and Isaiah speaks of the circle of the earth (Isaiah 40:22, LSB).
These are not “lucky guesses” but the **Economic Trinitarian Pattern** revealing the architecture of the cosmos. The complexity found in DNA a digital, semiotic code is the final signature. Code requires a Coder; the Logos is the only sufficient cause for the information density of life.

THE ASSUMPTION:Science is the only reliable path to objective truth.
THE EVIDENCE:The statement “only science is true” is not a scientific statement it is a philosophical one. Scientism is logically self-refuting.
“Upgraded Animals”
THE ASSUMPTION:Humanity is just biological matter struggling toward meaning.
THE EVIDENCE:The Imago Dei (Genesis 1:27) provides the only basis for moral consciousness and the uniqueness of the human person.
“Matter is Eternal”
THE ASSUMPTION:The universe has always existed or came from nothing by chance.
THE EVIDENCE:The Second Law of Thermodynamics points to a beginning. Logic requires a Prime Mover who is outside of time.
THE TERMINAL VERDICT
The restoration of science begins with the recognition of the **Logos**. We do not honor the Creator by surrendering His world to the fluctuating myths of the materialist; we honor Him by bowing to the Word that spoke the cosmos into being.
The goal of true inquiry is human flourishing through the visibility of God’s wisdom in creation. All facts are God’s facts. All truth is God’s truth. The laboratory, when rightly aligned, is an altar of worship for the Initiating Christ.
