03 / HOMELESS OUTREACH
WE DON’T WAIT
FOR PEOPLE
TO FIND
THE CHURCH.
Some people are inside shelters. Some are sleeping in camps, vehicles, beneath overpasses, behind businesses, or wherever they can make it through another night. We believe ministry has to be willing to go where people actually are.
Red Flame Legacy is building a homeless outreach capable of serving people on the street, in homeless camps, and alongside shelters already doing the work. We do not want to simply hand someone an item and disappear. We want to learn names, listen to stories, share a meal when we can, meet practical needs, open the Word of God, and spend enough time for a person to know they were seen.
Practical help and spiritual ministry belong together. We offer Bibles, biblical teaching, prayer and communion to those who desire to participate, while also working to provide the things that can make the next day safer, warmer and more bearable.
That is why we are building relationships with companies, publishers, ministries and donors. Socks, hygiene products, food, personal-care items, tents, sleeping bags, winter supplies, Bibles and communion are not random donations. They become part of a supply network built to put useful resources into the hands of people who need them.
MEET THE NEED. STAY WITH THE PERSON. SHARE CHRIST.
