MECHANICAL PUZZLES
Machines, gears, circuits, valves, locks and systems that have to be understood, not simply clicked.
Somewhere beyond the familiar paths of Kids World, doors are being built, machines are waking up, clues are being hidden, and a much bigger adventure is taking shape.
Explore World is being developed as a new interactive part of Kids World where exploration, puzzles, discovery and adventure come together.
This is not being built as another page where kids simply read something and click Next. We want explorers searching, investigating, thinking, experimenting and discovering what happens when they keep going.
One of the biggest adventures planned for Explore World changes the way the player interacts with the game itself.
Explore rooms. Search hidden areas. Repair machines. Collect objects. Decode messages. Operate gears, valves, locks and strange equipment.
Some clues will not contain everything you need. The missing information may be sitting inside the real Bible beside you.
The screen might give you half the clue. Your Bible might contain the other half.
The room is quiet. A control panel is dead. One gear is missing. Then you find a damaged document with only part of the information you need.
βFor if you remain silent at this time…β
ESTHER 4:?Find the passage. Recover the missing information. Return to the machine. Install the correct part. See what happens. No classroom quiz required. The adventure itself teaches the skill.
Machines, gears, circuits, valves, locks and systems that have to be understood, not simply clicked.
Rooms and environments filled with hidden information, objects, paths and things worth investigating.
Adventures designed to make finding books, chapters and verses increasingly natural through actual play.
Kids World characters can join the adventure, but the explorer remains the person the mission needs.
Workshops, archives, tunnels, stations, strange machinery and increasingly interconnected environments.
We’re not showing everything. Some things are much more fun when the explorer discovers them first.
Explore World is a large project. We’re designing and building the systems carefully instead of rushing something unfinished through the door. That means coding, testing, breaking things, fixing them, creating artwork, building puzzles and testing again.
Development bars show stages of work, not estimated completion percentages.
Kids World was created to give families somewhere to explore, play, learn and grow. Projects this large require development time, artwork, audio, equipment, hosting, testing and other resources.
There is no donation requirement to explore Kids World. This is simply a transparent look at what goes into building something this large.
But we’re working on the key.
Keep exploring Kids World while we build what comes next. We’ll open the doors when the adventure is ready.
