FULLY GOD FULLY MAN

This must be understood clearly.

[ X ] Not one or the other.

[ X ] Not a mixture.

JESUS IS FULLY GOD.
JESUS IS FULLY MAN.

He is both simultaneously.

JESUS IS FULLY GOD

JOHN 1:1 (ESV)

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

He was never created.
He did not come into existence.
He has always been.
COLOSSIANS 2:9 (ESV)

“For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily.”

Everything that makes God who He is
is present in Jesus.

JESUS IS ALSO FULLY MAN

JOHN 1:14 (ESV)

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”

He did not just appear human. He took on flesh.

He experienced hunger.
He experienced pain.
He experienced exhaustion.
He lived in the same fallen world you live in.
HEBREWS 4:15 (ESV)

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.”

He intimately understands what it is to struggle.
He knows exactly what it is to be tempted.

But He never sinned.

THE PERFECT MEDIATOR

If Jesus were only God,
He could not stand in your place.

If Jesus were only man,
He could not save you.

1 TIMOTHY 2:5 (ESV)

“For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

He bridges the gap between God and man.
Because He is both.

THERE IS NO CONFUSION HERE

[ X ] Not half God.

[ X ] Not half man.

FULLY GOD.
FULLY MAN.

Do not move past this quickly.

This is the unshakable foundation for understanding what He came to do.
