You have seen the finished work.
Now, you must secure the perimeter.
Doubt is coming.
THE WAR FOR
YOUR MIND
There will be days when you do not feel saved.
There will be days when you fail.
The enemy will use these moments to tell you it was never real.
[ X ] Your salvation is not based on your fluctuating emotions.
[ X ] Your salvation is not based on your perfect performance today.
[ X ] Your salvation is not a guessing game.
YOU ARE MEANT TO KNOW
God does not want you living in the dark.
He intends for you to be absolutely certain.
“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.”
Scripture does not say “that you might hope.”
Scripture does not say “that you might guess.”
THAT YOU MAY KNOW.
Assurance is not arrogance.
It is taking God at His word.
THE EXTERNAL ANCHOR
If you look inside yourself for proof of salvation, you will always find reason to doubt.
If you look at your behavior, you will find inconsistency.
Your assurance is not anchored in you.
“We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain”
THE GRIP OF GOD
You are not holding onto God with your own strength.
He is holding onto you.
“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
He began it.
HE WILL FINISH IT.
You are not kept saved by your grip.
You are kept saved by His grip.
THE UNBREAKABLE BOND
There is no force, no failure, and no enemy that can sever what God has joined.
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
[ X ] Your past cannot separate you.
[ X ] Your future cannot separate you.
[ X ] Even your own weakness cannot separate you.
WHEN THE LIES COME.
WHEN THE FEELINGS FADE.
Do not check your pulse.
CHECK THE CROSS.
Stand on what is written. Not on what you feel.
