YOUR NEXT STEPS
You have crossed the line.
You know the truth. You know what happened.
Now, you must move.
FAITH IS NOT
PASSIVE.
You do not just believe and sit down.
You believe and step forward.
Stagnation is a target on your back.
[ X ] The enemy wants you isolated.
[ X ] The enemy wants you ignorant.
[ X ] The enemy wants you quiet.
WE WILL NOT GIVE HIM THAT GROUND.
1. CONSUME THE WORD
You cannot survive on what other people tell you about God.
You must hear from Him directly.
“Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation”
Read the Bible every day.
Start in the book of John. Read it until you understand it. Then read it again.
2. ESTABLISH COMMS
Prayer is not a religious ritual.
It is direct communication with the Creator of the universe.
“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
3. LOCK SHIELDS
There is no such thing as a lone wolf Christian.
The straggler is the one who gets picked off.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another”
Find a solid, Bible-teaching church.
You need brothers and sisters in the trench with you.
4. THE PUBLIC DECLARATION
Baptism does not save you. The blood of Christ saved you.
But baptism is your public declaration of allegiance.
“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.”
It is drawing a line in the sand. It tells the world, the church, and the enemy:
THE OLD MAN IS DEAD.
I BELONG TO JESUS CHRIST.
SET 1 IS COMPLETE.
BUT THE WAR IS JUST BEGINNING.
Do not wait until you feel ready.
Obedience does not require a feeling. It requires a decision.
