STAYING STRONG
You have seen what it means to hold to truth and not compromise.
Now you must learn how to stay strong.
STRENGTH IS NOT LOUD.
IT IS STEADINESS.
Strength is not based on personality. It is not based on how confident you feel in the moment. It is remaining grounded when pressure comes.
Scripture calls you to be strong.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.”
This is not strength from yourself. It is strength from God.
THE REQUIREMENT TO REMAIN
If you try to stand in your own strength, you will wear out. You will eventually break.
But strength from God does not depend on those things. Staying strong means you stay connected. Scripture teaches that those who remain in Christ bear fruit.
“Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
Apart from Him, you cannot remain steady. Connected to Him, you can.
STRENGTH IS ENDURANCE
Strength is also built through endurance. Staying strong does not mean you do not feel pressure. It means you do not give in to it.
“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial…”
Remaining is strength. Continuing is strength.
Scripture teaches you to stand firm regardless of the situation.
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith… be strong.”
YOU ARE AWARE. YOU ARE GROUNDED. YOU DO NOT MOVE.
GUARDING YOUR THINKING
Staying strong also requires guarding your mind. What you think will heavily affect how you stand.
“…do not be anxious about anything… and the peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
You bring them back to truth.
You do not let your thoughts run without direction. Staying strong also means you do not isolate yourself from what builds you.
- You stay in the Word.
- You stay consistent in prayer.
- You stay connected to truth.
This is not optional. It is what keeps you steady.
There will be moments where you feel tired. Moments where it would be easier to stop. Moments where pressure feels heavy. That is exactly where true strength is revealed.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Your weakness is not the end. It is where His strength becomes clear.
[ X ] STAY CONNECTED TO GOD.
[ X ] STAND FIRM IN TRUTH.
[ X ] ENDURE THROUGH PRESSURE.
[ X ] GUARD YOUR THINKING.
[ X ] RETURN WHEN YOU FEEL WEAK.
THIS IS HOW YOU STAY STRONG.
NOT BY RELYING ON YOURSELF.
BUT BY REMAINING IN HIM.
