THE ANTICHRIST EXPLAINED
Tracing the forensic lineage of the Man of Lawlessness from the celestial fall of the Accuser to the final incarnation of human rebellion.THE ENMITY OF SEEDS
“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed.” (Genesis 3:15, LSB)
To understand the Antichrist, one must first comprehend the Dragon. The Antichrist is not a political accident; he is the biological and spiritual climax of the Serpent’s war against the Incarnate Word. This is the “mystery of lawlessness”—a forensic trail of rebellion that begins before the foundation of the world.
He is the **Anti-Logos**. Just as Jesus Christ is the exact representation of the Father, the Antichrist is the exact representation of the Fallen Angel. He is the ultimate human vessel for the one who has desired, since his fall, to sit upon the mount of assembly in the recesses of the north.
THE FALLEN CHERUB
“Shining One, Son of the Dawn.” (Isaiah 14:12). The original celestial rank of the Accuser before his ontological defection.
From Ezekiel 28:14. He was the guardian of the holy mountain, perfect in beauty until unrighteousness was found in him.
The New Testament title for the slanderer who was “thrown down” to the earth, having lost his place in the heavenly courts (Rev 12:9).
The fall of Satan was not a failure of power, but a failure of **submission**. Driven by a narcissistic obsession with his own beauty and wisdom, he uttered the five “I wills” of Isaiah 14:13-14. His goal was never to destroy God, but to *be* God.
THE LINEAGE OF DESTRUCTION
The Loss of Perfection
Lucifer, an anointed cherub, is cast out of the holy mountain due to pride. He becomes the “god of this world,” ruling through the power of death and the bondage of the human will.
“You Will Be Like God”
The Serpent successfully infects humanity with his own virus: the desire for autonomy. This creates the “Seed of the Serpent”—a line of men who reject the sovereignty of God.
The Revelation of the Beast
The Antichrist appears as the final individual in this lineage. He is the first human since the fall to be fully possessed and empowered by the Dragon to demand global worship (Rev 13:4).
THE UNHOLY TRINITY
The source of authority and power who “gives his throne” to the Beast. He seeks the worship that belongs to God alone.
The “Man of Lawlessness” who suffers a fatal wound and is “resurrected” in a mocking parody of the Lamb (Rev 13:3).
The one who performs signs to “draw all men” to worship the Beast, mirroring the Holy Spirit’s work of glorifying Christ.
THE SOVEREIGN VERDICT
There is no doubt. The Antichrist is the final, forensic conclusion of the fallen human condition. He is the personification of the lie that man can be his own God. But his fate was sealed at the Cross. The Dragon is a defeated foe, and his “Son” is destined for the lake of fire. The Church does not fear the Beast; she worships the King who slays him with a word.
